The basic info of Second Galaxy including the essential concepts used in the game.

Terminologies:

Base: Every player has their own base on a Space Station in a solar system. Actions such as Research, Decryption, Development, Storage, and Production can only be conducted while the player is in the base. Other Space Stations only provides the docking service. While traveling across the universe, tap the  button at the upper-left corner to navigate back to your base quickly.

Stargate: A Stargate connects a solar system to the others. It's the only way to travel to other systems quickly. This is the icon that represents a Stargate:

AU: One AU (astronomical unit) represents the mean distance between the Earth and our sun.

Warp: Ships can only warp when the destination is at least hundreds of kilometers away. It allows a ship to travel through hundreds of AU in a very short time. Warping arrivals are marked with the following icon:

N Jump(s): Players can only head to other solar systems via Stargates. During a quest, if the objective is marked as N Jump(s) away, it means to reach the destination, you'll have to get through N Stargates.

Pilot License: Most of the ships require you to own the respective Pilot License before you can fly them. Passing Pilot License Tests will improve your ship maneuver and combat capability. To participate in a pilot license test, tap your portrait, then select Pilot License.

Implants: Advanced technologies in Second Galaxy allow the application of brain implants which enable us to acquire new skills quickly. These implants can significantly improve your piloting ability.

Tech Level: Each technology has 3 levels: From T1 to T3. Ships and items with a higher tech level have better attributes. Items with a high tech level, however, also require more Power and higher Processor Capacity to equip.

Criminal Level: Your Criminal level will increase if you attack another player in a high-security or a low-security space. At level 5, the police will actively attack you. Complete all kinds of quests to decrease your Criminal Level little by little.

Map: The map shows the relationships between celestial objects and the connections between Stargates.

Wormhole: You may go to an unknown realm by getting through a wormhole. Due to the extreme environment, you must control how long your ship is staying in a wormhole. Some rare items can only be obtained in wormholes.

Solar System Sovereignty :A Corporation may win the sovereignty of a solar system by war. Owning a solar system will benefit every member of the Corp. A Corporation can develop a solar system under its control to increase its value.
