In an Exploration Quest, you need to decipher encrypted caches and explore the unknown parts of the world.

Mode Info

1.Encrypted Caches

Upon completing certain Encounters, you have a chance to obtain Encrypted Caches. The caches are stored in your warehouse. Upon using a cache, you will automatically accept an Exploration Quest.

Encrypted Caches have a range of rarities. Better Encrypted Caches have a better chance of leading to more valuable treasure.

You can sell or buy caches at the Trading Post. Mind that only caches that are not bound to you are tradable.

2. Recover Star Map Data

After accepting the Exploration Quest, you must locate the coordinates in the cache. Turn the Space Simulator to match the projection and the map data and eventually locate the target solar system. The match rate in the bottom left tells you how close your match is.

If you can't do it yourself, there's also the option to pay Credits and let your AI deal with it.

3. Deep Space Secrets

Once the map data is recovered, you will have the specific coordinates of the objective. Now open your OPS panel and find the Deep Space Secrets tab to see the detailed quest info. Tap Go Now to navigate towards the target location. Explore the target location to complete the Exploration Quest.
