Langrisser Day No.34

Dear Commander,

Happy Langrisser Day!
Langrisser 3.0 has been live for 3 weeks! Have you adequately used the new hero "Born in Chaos-Another Matthew, Wehttam"? Perhaps you still have doubts about training and adding him to your strategies. Today, we bring you a detailed character explanation of The Almighty Wehttam, hoping it can be helpful!

Character Introduction
Wehttam was born amidst the chaos and is part of the Dark Realm's new generation. Mastering the power of the magic sword, he possesses two professions: Flier and Demon, and can be used as an independent combatant. His fighting mechanism relies on the state of the enemy's troops; if the condition of the enemy's troops is poor, or if he is killed, he will transform himself into a terrifying reaper and quickly overwhelm his foe. His abilities are well-balanced; he can use displacement effects, single target attacks, and AoE abilities to deal with complex situations. In addition, he has access to mighty warriors like Steelmane Werewolves, Barbarian Warriors and more, allowing him to make flexible choices according to the flow of battle.

[Faction Division]
Wehttam belongs to two of the most popular factions: Mythical Realm and Dark Reincarnation. Due to his access to Enhanced ATK and Invulnerablility, he does not solely rely on Fusion Power. Under the great blessings of Licorice and Tree Sage, you can enjoy the additional Damage Boost and a double resistance bonus, which can absorb additional damage.

Detailed Talents
As soon as Wehttam enters battle, his combat prowess is fully improved and he is better at dealing with debuffs. He is challenging to restrict because all debuffs affecting him will have their duration reduced an extra turn. In addition, this talent can afflict the enemy with the [Despair] debuff which has excellent suppressing power. "Despaired" targets have their passives disabled and are unable to guard themselves against Wehttam's attacks, rendering them completely vulnerable in his presence.

3-Cost Skill
Wehttam can summon the "Shadow of the Magic Sword" to inflict damage, boost himself, and act again; after casting it, he gains Invulnerable and Enhanced ATK, allowing him to not rely on his teammates' Fusion Power. At the same time, the Shadow of Alhazard is his immovable Summon, which gives Wehttam a high amount of damage reduction, restores his HP, and improves the stats of all Dark Reincarnation allies on the field.

The 3C Skill allows Wehttam to choose the Demon Class and improve his combat capabilities when fighting against holy units. However, selecting the Flier Class has other advantages too.

Class Paths
Winged General
Transferring to the Flier Class grants a movement range of 5 and unlocks the skill [The Demon Dragon's Grievance]. It provides strong debuffs along with a Move Again ability. Moving up to 3 blocks will help Wehttam find the best position after a battle. This class complements the 3C Skill improving Wehttam's survivability.

Envoy of Chaos
When you change Wehttam's class to Chaos Surrogate, you can unlock [Shadow Step], a 1C teleportation skill with a whole field cast range. If Wehttam teleports close to the 3C's Summon or a "Despaired" enemy, you can act again, allowing a rich and varied tactical playstyle. The skill [Desolation] is a super-high multiplier single target attack that dispels 5 of the target enemy's buffs, cursing the enemy with vicious wounds.

Choosing Troops
Steelmane Werewolves: Their damage-bearing and damage boost abilities are very suitable for Wehttam;

Gargoyles: They are perfect if your opponent has more healer units, units good at single target attacks, or when there is a pressure of potential terrain interference.

Above is a detailed explanation of the hero Wehttam, the all-around power character with a super long suppression range. He is a high-damage hero that can be part of the main force while at the same time comes with Enhanced ATK, Invulnerability, and Damage Reduction. Wehttam can be an indispensable part of any team! His exclusive limited-time summoning event [Awaken! Incarnation of Eternal Darkness!] will end on January 26th. Commanders who want to add him in their ranks must hurry up~

Finally, please remember to claim your Langrisser Day gift! Until next time—farewell, Commander!
