Langrisser Day No.51

Dear Commanders,

Happy Langrisser Day!

Have you been enjoying the anniversary celebrations? We have a wealth of special bonus events coming your way, so remember to take part! In addition to this, we'll also be welcoming a new game mode—this month, we'll be giving you a preview of the Skyline Tactics mode. We hope you find this introduction useful!

Mode Introduction:

If you've ever played auto chess, you should be familiar with the rules. Each round is divided into a preparation phase, a battle phase, and a post-battle phase. You can buy and sell heroes, refresh the store, adjust hero positions, and carry out a range of other operations. After the preparation phase, you'll be matched with a random opponent and engage in an autochess battle. After the battle ends, rewards and HP deductions will be distributed based on the results, and players will enter the preparation phase of the next round or eliminated, until a final winner is determined.

Preparation Phase:

Buying Heroes:

In the preparation phase of each round, you can purchase heroes in the store by consuming Skyline Coins.

Hero Stars & Rarity:

The heroes in the store have different degrees of rarity, divided into five levels: white, green, blue, purple, and gold. The corresponding Skyline Coin costs range from 1 to 5. The higher the rarity, the higher the cost, and the lower the probability of them appearing when refreshing the store.

All heroes in the store are 1-Star heroes. If you receive three identical heroes, they'll automatically be synthesized into the same hero, but at a higher star level. For example, if you receive three identical 1-Star heroes, you can synthesize the same 2-Star hero. The maximum level for all heroes is 3 stars. After synthesizing a 3-Star hero, that hero won't appear in your store again.

Store Screen:

Store Level:

Each round will earn you Store EXP. After accumulating a certain amount of Store EXP, the store's level will increase. You can refresh higher-rarity heroes in higher-level stores.

Participating Heroes:

The number of heroes you can deploy will increase as the store's level increases.

Store Refreshing & Locking:

You can refresh the heroes provided in the store by consuming Skyline Coins. When you finally find a hero you need, but you don't have enough Skyline Coins to purchase them, you can use the Lock button next to them to freeze the current store heroes for purchase in the next round.

Action Sequence:

Drag the hero avatars under the countdown bar to adjust the action sequence of your heroes for more strategic deployment.

Hero Positions:

You can drag heroes on the battlefield to arrange their positions. Use scattered positioning to avoid taking AoE damage, or try protecting your strongest damage dealers through dense formations.

Formation Collocation:

Each hero belongs to a Harmony faction (a single hero can belong to multiple different Harmonies). When a certain number of heroes of the same Harmony are in battle together, the corresponding Harmony effect will be triggered automatically. After triggering Harmonies, the strength of all your deployed heroes will significantly increase, and you'll benefit from various available Harmony effects.

Equipment:

Equipment items drop in battle. After equipping these items, your deployed heroes will gain additional buffs or your enemies will be debuffed. At the same time, equipment can also help you to form lineups faster, improve hero star levels, and facilitate a range of other additional functions.

Battle Stage:

At the beginning of the battle, deployed heroes will take action based on your preset action sequence, until one side is completely defeated.

Post-Battle Phase:

After the outcome is decided, the winning side will receive more Skyline Coins, while the losing side's total HP will be reduced. When your total HP is reduced to 0, you'll be out of the challenge.

Success in Skyline Tactics is not only a matter of the luck, it's also a test of your ability to assess your opponent's formation and the overall situation. We hope that this introduction will help you get ready for this new challenge!
