This year's themed mode is Einherjar Chronicles, where you can summon Einherjar allies in combat!
So without further ado, let's take a closer look at the Einherjar Chronicles mode!

2.Einherjar: Legendary Support on the Battlefield
In "Einherjar Chronicles", you can acquire Spirit Wedge summoning items and equip them to summon Einherjar. These Einherjar are not corporeal heroes—they are formed of elemental essence, and wield formidable elemental powers. Each Einherjar embodies one of three elements: Water, Fire, or Thunder.
The capabilities of each elemental type are distinct. For instance, fire excels against hordes of monsters, while water significantly enhances survival.
Each Einherjar possesses passive talents and active skills. Take a look at this skill 'Unconquerable Blue Dragon' of Blue Dragon Knight Spirit. Can you think of any battle tactics that could accompany such power?
To possess mighty Einherjar, one must cultivate them one step at a time. In Einherjar Chronicles all Einherjar upgrade items can be earned from stages. You can upgrade your Einherjar's stats with these items to face ever-stronger foes.
It's worth noting that Einherjar upgrading offers a certain degree of freedom and intrigue, and will require your own personal exploration upon this mode's release.
3.Stages and Combat: Strategy + RNG?
Unlike previous combat units, Einherjar offer a unique approach to battle. You can prepare up to five Einherjar to equip to your heroes in each stage. The crux of battle lies in the timing of their summoning, utilizing their abilities and traits within two turns to decisively impact the fight.
Einherjar are invincible most of the time, being completely impervious to enemy damage, so their survival is not a concern during combat. Moreover, the synergy between heroes and Einherjar sparks talents, with various combinations awaiting your discovery and development!
Not only do Einherjar possess elemental energy, but their adversaries also wield the power to control the elements. Enemies in new stages can deploy Elemental Shields of varying properties. Your Einherjar can shatter shields matching their element, reducing or nullifying the enemy's damage mitigation, a key to achieving victory in stages.
Beyond elemental properties and shield-breaking, new stages feature special devices—Elemental Enigmas! These devices require an Einherjar of the corresponding element to interact with them to activate and trigger Mysterious Events.
Unlike previous battlefield assistance features, you can gain additional combat power boosts or encounter powerful enemies guarding Enigmas!
This new mode also presents special Challenge Stages for Commanders who relish a true trial. You can freely choose interesting difficulty modifiers to combine, with greater rewards for successful challenges!
Additionally, to ensure both new and returning Commanders enjoy this new mode, we've preserved a portion of personalized upgrade results (equipment, enchantments, awakening), while standardizing training levels like Barracks and Covenants.
4.Unlocking Epoch Sigils: A New Chemical Reaction
Given the strength of Einherjar, you're probably wondering if they can be used in regular gameplay modes. While Einherjar cannot be used directly, Commanders who clear the Einherjar Chronicles can unlock this year's Epoch Sigils. These Sigils, imbued with the power of Einherjar, can then be applied across various standard gameplay modes! We hope the advent of Einherjar will elevate your prowess in PvE battles and spark more strategies in PvP, creating a new chemical reaction in the game's battle dynamics.
