1.2 When will the Second Galaxy test start and how long will it last? When can I download the game client?

A: Second Galaxy’s stargate will be open for testing from July 5 02:00 - July 14 10:00 (UTC). The client will be available for download once the test begins.

USA Eastern Daylight Time (EDT): July 4 22:00 - July 14 06:00 (UTC -5)

USA Pacific Daylight Time (PDT): July 4 19:00 - July 14 03:00 (UTC -8)

AUS Melbourne Time: July 5 12:00 - July 14 20:00 (UTC -10)

 

1.3 Will my Second Galaxy test progress be deleted at the end of the test? Will I be able to make in-app purchases during the test?

A: In-app purchases will be unavailable during this test, and all Commander data will be deleted once the test is completed.

 

1.4 On which platforms and in which regions will the test be available?

A: This test will be available on iOS (Test Flight) and Android (Google Play Open Beta – Early Access).

　　The test will be available in the following countries and regions: China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, the United States, Canada, Australia, most of EU and more (please check your stores).

 

1.5 What do I need to do to qualify for participation in this Second Galaxy test? Where can I download the game?

A: You will need to do the following to qualify for the test: On the day of the test’s commencement, a test link will be posted on the Facebook page, Discord Server and Reddit. Tap on the link and follow the ensuing steps (including download the game) to apply for the test.

　　Commanders will be able to apply on a first come first served basis, and once the number of participants reaches the limit, new users will no longer be able to apply for participation. Please understand that these limitations are necessary for the test purposes.

 

1.6 How big is the client?

A: The Second Galaxy client is about 1.4 GB. Please ensure that you have at least 3 GB space before installing the game.

 

1.7 What are the minimum device specifications required to play the game?

A: The minimum device specifications required to play Second Galaxy are as follows:

Operating System: Android 4.4 or iOS 7 and above.

Memory: 3GB

Storage Space: 3GB

 

1.8 How do I manually fly my ships?

A: Double-tap the screen when in space, and your ship will fly in that direction.

 

1.9 What is the highest level I can reach during the test?

A: The highest level you can reach during the test is Lv. 50.

 

1.10 What should I do if experiencing low frame rates, lagging or crashes?

A: You can adjust the game settings in Settings - Display.

 

1.11 How can I quickly resolve any problems encountered in the game?

A: You can tap the “info” button in the bottom left of the space station interface to view solutions to common problems on the FAQ page.

 

1.12 Where can I find my character ID?

A: Tap on your avatar and you’ll see your ID at the top of the attributes interface. Your ID is your unique character number, through which customer service can help you to locate and resolve problems quicker in the game.

 

1.13 Can you trade with anyone in the game?

A: In Second Galaxy, you can trade via the Trading Post which opens after Chapter 6 of the main story.

 

1.14 What should I do if I don’t have any story quests available?

A: Head to the main interface - OPS - Quests to find more missions and events. In the early stages of your adventure, it is recommended that you try your best to complete as many Encounters as you can to level up.

 

1.15 Is there open world PvP in Second Galaxy?

A: Open PvP becomes available after Lv.19. You can engage in PvP across the universe, apart from when in the vicinity of stargates and space stations, but the Great Council encourages Commanders to remember that: There will be high penalties for engaging in PvP in safe and low-security zones.

 

1.16 Do ships disappear forever after exploding in Second Galaxy?

A: Ships will disappear after being destroyed, apart from when on main story missions, undertaking pilot license tests, and engaging in certain limited-time events. Please be careful when choosing the events you want to participate in to minimize losses.
