January 9th 2020 Routine Maintenance Update Preview

Respected Pilots:

After the official launch of version 1.5, the Great Council received a great deal of feedback, and has carried out data analysis and research to optimize and adjust the defects and deficiencies present in the game. In the upcoming routine update maintenance, we plan to optimize the existing problems, one by one.

Please note that the first routine maintenance of the year, scheduled for January 7th, will be rescheduled to January 9th. Now, allow us to share with you the current development direction and repairs and adjustments coming to the game. Thank you for your continual love and support!

Recruit System

· Enhanced Recruit Energy Regeneration

- Fixed the problem where recruits (especially those with multiple devices) would quickly run out of energy in battle and lose the ability to fight: The energy recovery system for all recruits has been optimized, so that the lower a ship’s energy is, the higher its natural energy recovery speed will be.

· Enhanced Recruit Battle Synergy Logic

- Fixed the problem where, in actual combat, recruits would defend themselves, instead of attacking your current target: The Great Council has adjusted recruit target selection logic to only attack targets you are currently targeting.

- The synergy system between recruits and pilots has been enhanced: Recruit response distance will be related to the pilot’s weapon range, and when a pilot actively stays away from the current attack target until they are out of weapon range, the recruit will also leave combat with the pilot.

· Optimized Recruit Expertise Effect Stacking Logic

- Fixed the problem where Recruit Expertise effects of the same tech level and same name would take effect at the same time due to the Recruit Expertise changes in the latest version: When there are two Recruit Expertise effects of the same name and of the same tech level active on a single recruit, the higher quality Recruit Expertise ability will take effect. If the quality of the two is the same, only one of them will take effect.

- Recruit Expertise abilities that are no longer effective due to the stacking issue will be marked as gray in the interface, and can be extracted using Microchip items.

- At the same time, the Great Council will also issue 10 T3 Recruit Expertise Recruit Memory Chips to all pilots in the game after the version update. You will be able to choose when and how you use these according to your specific needs. The Great Council has also deemed that players who had more than 5 Master Recruits prior to the gameplay update on December 17th will receive additional memory chips. The number of memory chips issued to these players will be based on the aforementioned number of Master Recruits these players had. This compensation will be issued before 10:00 (GT) on January 10th 2020.

· Optimized Shield Resistance Reduction Formula

- Fixed the problem where the reduction effects of shield resistance disruptor devices were far higher than shield resistance increase effects. We have further optimized and adjusted related shield resistance reduction values, balancing the practical value of shield resistance increase and reduction effects so that ships with higher shield resistance possess higher resistance to resistance reduction effects in actual combat, thus further balancing the numerical effect and role of shield resistance and resistance disruption in combat.

Decryptable Implant Cases

· Shortened Decryption Time

- The decryption time of all kinds of decryptable implant cases has been reduced to 10 seconds, so that you can decrypt implant cases more quickly.

- All types of implant cases will now quickly open to grant all types of implants.
