Ship Background

The Sprinkle frigate is the upgraded version of the Mist frigate, taking on the Mist frigate's assault and scouting role. It boasts steady overall performance and excels in maneuverability.

Although the Dawn won the war against Glick-A in 878 AG and was regarded as a military powerhouse in the Galactic 3rd quadrant at the time, the Dawn's military industrial system was far from perfect compared to other super powers who could directly devote their resources to military R&D. Ever since its lacking of mobilization and supply flaws were exposed during Galactic War IV, Dawnese navy has been laughed at as the ""Motley Pirates"" of the stars.

In 911 AG, Galactic War IV was in its most crucial stages, and the R&D project of the Mist frigate was bestowed to the Shimadzu Group with the code name ""Sprinkle"". After a huge investment, nonstop arguments and countless days of thinking, the Sprinkle frigate, equipped with updated combat blasters and fully designed and manufactured by the Dawn, was finally born on the eve of the ""GGA"" Operation in 927 AG.

The Sprinkle frigate maintains the Rain frigate's main battle tasks of assaulting and scouting. The unique ship-based tactical component Radiant Energy Amplifier can provide additional energy supply to the main artillery by recycling residual energy from destroyed enemy ships through a complicated absorption effect. It can also improve the damage output of the main artillery by using a theoretically complicated core compression device to improve the compression rate of Higgs bosons.

These upgrades made the Sprinkle frigate successful in its role as a battlefield boundary patrol unit along with cruisers in ""GGA"" Operation, with countless sacrifices of course.
