Inheriting its predecessor's role on the battlefield, the Orchid destroyer is equipped with a special tactical unit and possesses great maneuverability, making it well-known for its outstanding performance in short-range assault and interception missions.
The death of the ""Golden Emperor"" Henriad in 828 AG signaled the end of the Second Titan Empire, and the nation's great efforts to maintain stability and prosperity disappeared in the wind. The Empire separated into many states and kingdoms, with The Titan Empire being the largest of them. The Hundred Years' War (765 AG - 878 AG) between the Dawn State and Glick-A Kingdom ended in late 878 AG, without mediation from the Empire, Glick-A was forced to hand over the sovereignty of Aurora as tribute to the Dawn State.
Rumor has it that the Dawn State was able to strike a deal for monetary and technological support from the pirates and the Atlassians of Aurora just before Galactic War II, and this technology and money was invested into the Orchid destroyer, making the extremely powerful firing system of this ship possible.
After Galactic war IV, the designers of Singularity Group made innovative improvements on the Orchid destroyer. They expanded component compatibility, and added a Inductive Fire Control Radar Array for fire control optimization and a complex Graviton Pulse Generator. The Graviton Pulse Generator generates strong gravity waves and slows objects pulled by the gravity field for a short time. This is how cruise speed disruption is achieved. With its well-balanced performance, this battleship has become the basic ship for ECD's Aurora Task Force.
