As a successor of the Cove battlecruiser, the Lagoon battlecruiser has advanced processor capability and capacitor, which provide space for updating weapons.
The Lagoon is the successor of the ""Hornet"",the inspiration of its core upgrade was from a Second Titan Empire firepower ship captured during Galactic War IV.
Researchers of the Redbud Group maintained the Cove's role as a firepower battlecruiser. They developed a more powerful firepower system for the Lagoon and optimized its propulsion system and armor.
1,200 modified Lagoons were manufactured from 913 AG to 926 AG, and all of them were used in Galactic War IV. They cooperated perfectly with interceptors and destroyed the enemy capital ship piloted by General Spencer from the Second Titan Empire.
In the middle of Galactic War IV, since the Lagoon's predecessor was the Cove, a battlecruiser that was known for its disastrous operability, the Redbud Group's researchers further modified the ship. The ship was fitted with the latest micropulse wormhole generator to help the ship settle into complex battlefields and improve the ship's survival rate greatly.
After Galactic War IV, the Redbud Group once again upgraded the Lagoon's performance. The Light Sensing Fire Control Radar Array was added to bring the ship's long-range fires into full play. Moreover, the fully upgraded processor capability and capacitor allowed for new components and weapons.
