Ship Background

The Spiritual battleship is a typical assault battleship. It performs well when pursuing enemies, which is very rare for a battleship.

In order to develop its economy, Glick-B (which later became the Dawn) urgently sought to free itself from the Glick government's control during the First Great Council Period (960 BG- 400 BG), so around 480 BG, they engaged in an armed conflict with the government. In the end, around 490 BG, Glick-B chose to purchase its autonomy from the government, but in the 100 or more years that followed, the greedy Glick government continually went back on its words, as it had discovered Glick-B's commercial value. In order to guarantee its commercial interests, Glick-B began developing battleships. The Spiritual battleship was one of those ships developed during that period of time.

The current Spiritual battleship is a product of the modern age. Blackwood Research Institute's designers obtained inspiration from weapons research institutes in Lawless Space and designed a malleable forward-swept wing body for the ship. Adjusting the forward-swept wing allowed the particle cannon cooldown system's heat radiator to gain more surface space in battle, thereby allowing it to complete more firing periods within a specified unit of time.

These research results were further improved upon during Galactic War IV, and applied to the newly-developed Spiritual battleship. The ship was also equipped with a Focused Gravitational Field Entanglement Beam, which can reduce the target's velocity effectively by focusing its gravitational field, so that the target has no way to escape.

Currently, the Spiritual battleship is part of the military arms list of the Dawn's Aurora Task Force.
