The Vulture frigate as a firepower disruptor, performs well in terms of firepower, maneuverability and electronic compatibility. It is perfect for working with heavy interceptors and logistics ships in battle.
As an upgrade to the Jaeger frigate, the Vulture uses an upgraded emergency phase space disruptor to extend the length of self-defense for emergencies, while the cooldown and firepower of the equipped Higgs Charged Blaster have been improved.
In 951 AG, the founder and first president of Neo-Europa, Ingram, announced his resignation and has not been heard of by anyone ever since. Soon after Ingram's resignation, the various forces of Neo-Europa surged, one of which, known as the Black Flag Pirates, was particularly active. A Neo-Europa Navy fleet was once heavily hit while clamping down on the Black Flag roaming through the Hera Corridor near the Origin. The group's flexible assault tactics made the Navy fleet pay a great price for winning this battle. In the operational summary report, the fleet mentioned that the Black Flag had modified the Jaeger frigates—the Jackdaw Frigates, to engage in a disruption assault. This drew the attention of the Neo-Europan Defense Department and the Military Research Department.
In a later operation against the Black Flag, Neo-Europa dispatched the Seventh Federal Fleet's Son of Ares and successfully captured one of the Black Flag Pirate Group's Jackdaw Frigates. They later brought it to the Federal Military Research Institute.
By disassembling this frigate, the researchers found that it was suspected to be equipped with a weapon system core from the Titan Empire II. After replicating the core, the Federal Military Research Institute incorporated the brand-new Type 7-49 external armor to improve the ship's defenses, and modified the thruster's engine to release the Vulture frigate. The new frigate's role was confirmed as a ship that would seek opportunities to assault enemy crafts in battle, and provide necessary support to allies through constructive interference in order to gain a greater tactical advantage.
It is a shame that the simplification of the operating system hasn't gone any further, even to this day. It is even more difficult to handle than the Jaeger. For this reason, the Vulture was criticized by most military experts as a ""floating coffin"", And it seems that this series of ships will be stuck with this name for a long time.
