The Cavalry destroyer possesses strong armor and abundant shield recharging capabilities. It has a clear advantage in long-range firepower output and performs outstandingly in interception tasks.
The ""Cavalry"" name can be traced back to the distant Galactic War II (990 BG-970 BG). They were said to be developed by the Spartans for Galactic War II to topple Titan Empire I, and were one of the long-range firepower ships mass-produced during this time. Historical records indicate that this ship was known for its outstanding structural design and stable performance (a common trait among Neo-Europan ships today), with firepower that far surpassed that of other ships of its time. Due to this model's unprecedented success, the Cavalry was not phased out during the First Great Council (960 BG-400 BG) and Great Construction Era (400 BG-20 BG), but was instead improved and upgraded. Unfortunately, the establishment of Titan Empire II caused a gap in Spartan culture, so the original design was lost to the annals of history. The current Cavalry destroyer only carries the name.
The Cavalry was developed during the early period of Galactic War IV. At that time, the ship was equipped with an Directional Wave Power Extractor which could collect dissipated positrons when an enemy ship was destroyed, and use an energy-balancing device to restore its shield and improve cruise speed. It also used a Hived Cluster Missile Launcher to increase firepower, making it one of the most important heavy ships of the Spartan Rebellion.
During the most intense period of Galactic War IV, the Cavalry was handed over to the Federation Navy for exportation to the states and other rebellion organizations. It became popular for its firepower and outstanding survivability.
After the war, the Cavalry was further upgraded in terms of the capacitor and processor capability to adapt to modern warfare. Extremely high sustainability and good mobility allow the Cavalry destroyer to cross fiery battlefields on interception missions.
