The Warden battlecruiser is an upgraded version of the Centurion. It performs well in terms of endurance and is highly adaptable to complex battlefields, which is rare for an electronic ship. As an upgraded version, its design follows the original type, equipped with an improved Secondary Energy Power Relay Circuit and Gaussian Magnetic Field Stabilizer. In order to adapt those upgrades, the ship's capacitor and processing power were increased as well.
The Warden battlecruiser project was approved after Galactic War IV, and the Modine Company was confirmed to develop it by senior officials who had realized that the arms system was too stiff. This was likely because Neo-Europa's research institutions lacked experience with electronics ships to a certain extent, and other groups didn't deign to take on the upgrade of this ""unreliable"" ship.
As one of the products of Neo-Europa's plan to upgrade old military products, the Warden Battlecruiser's dynamic energy system was put in the center of the ship and well protected by the ship's armor. This sort of fitting method aimed to reduce the amount of explosive damage caused when the dynamic system was hit in battle, but also meant that with Neo-Europa's current military technology conditions, the defensive armor of their electronic ships wasn't as thick as they would have wanted.
Modine Company's researchers upgraded the Warden's central data integration processing system in 1033 AG, improving the ship's capacitor and processing power. They also upgraded all of the e-warfare equipment of the combat system, and made revolutionary improvements to the microelectronic mechanical system. As for the avionics system, they applied the latest research results and new technologies from the ""Gempost"" project.
The Warden was obviously a big success as an electronic ship, but the Modine Company was gradually assimilated into the Dawn's Culture over a long period of time. Neo-Europa believed them to be a bunch of traitors, and so the Warden's reliability was always doubted.
