The Ascetic frigate takes on the battlefield role of providing firepower and interception. It possesses decent maneuverability and agility, while performing steadily in firepower output.
In recent years, this ship has been equipped with a Experimental Charged Shield Trigger and a Gaussian Magnetic Field Stabilizer. This upgrade scheme enables ship-based tactical component to extract energy from destroyed targets and use it to recharge the shield generator and to reduce weapon cooldowns with its tactical devices. Its capabilities determine that this ship is better suited for fights where it can exterminate targets one by one.
The Ascetic frigate has a long history. It initially appeared during the First Titan Empire (approximately 2,000 years ago). In 1119 BG, Grand Emperor Sar-Menko of the First Titan Empire passed away, and after Su-Nisara took the throne through the Red Blood Funeral, the ""Era of the Dark King,"" of Prince Moxina (who had chosen the wrong side) ended. When Su-Nisara was in power, Moxina (which later became the Oracle Empire) was restricted in its ship development. Because of this, large numbers of interstellar pirates, as well as Svarus, who coveted its territory, have been drawn there. The people of Moxina reached a consensus that they needed to have the strength to defend themselves. In the end, they paid an exorbitant cost to import advanced technology from Hygara, and secretly produced the prototype of the Ascetic frigate. This ship featured one design concept: offense, unstoppable attacks and killing. To achieve this, they had to weaken the armor and shield to prioritize the ship's firepower. Warriors sometimes had to learn the meaning of ""abnegation"" with their lives.
Today, the Ascetic class has been upgraded and replaced, and the name has surpassed the meaning of the ship. After the Great Construction Era (390 BG-20 BG), when Moxina's name was changed to the Oracle Empire, this ship became a spiritual symbol of the Oracle.
The latest Ascetic is equipped with technology from Titan Empire II, thanks to the Golden Sakhra Group designers, and a series of improvements have been made on the ship so the nickname ""path to heaven"" was imbued with another meaning—The consecutive attacks within a short time from the overloading weapons system would be enough to send its enemies to heaven.
