The Contemplative is a typical heavy frigate with disruption feature. Its excellent maneuverability and agility makes it adaptive to the battlefield. It grants an edge when fighting alongside firepower interception ships.
The emergence of the Contemplative marked Hem-Netjer's completion of a self-developed ship. Its knife-like shape has a symbolic meaning.
The founder of Titan Empire II, the Emperor Targus, who had both Titan and Moxinian blood, married the princess of the Oracle Empire and embraced Deus Faith. For this reason, the emperor granted the Oracle Empire more preferential policies and dividends gained from war. However, over half of these dividends were taken by Hem-Netjer. With such great fortune, Hem-Netjer revived from the Third Political and Religious Conflict and had the capital to develop a ship. Researchers of Hem-Netjer wanted to develop a heavy ship, and so the Contemplative came into being. The ship was once named the ""Expiator"", which was later discarded due to its political implications against Emperor Targus.
During the reigns of Emperor Targus and of his son, the ""short-lived Targus"", the Contemplative played a role as peace keeper in some parts of the Empire. But in the period of Ditri the Reaper that followed (127 AG - 251 AG), with the abolition of the preferential policies of the Oracle Empire, even this ""peace keeper"" was destroyed under the stringent restrictions against the use of ships. Blueprints of the Contemplative which were hidden by priests in their temple among scriptures were later cleansed by Ditri the Reaper with blood. One hundred years later, the blueprints, mudded by blood, were found and brought back to life by Believer researchers. The reborn Contemplative was also positioned as a heavy frigate, but with higher agility and velocity which ensured its long battery life and high survivability on the battlefield.
Now the Contemplative has been equipped with a shield and battery recovery speed-up system which protects the ship by balancing its power and shield, maintains its function as a highly-mobile heavy ship, and ensures enough room to accommodate an additional disruption field generator. Meanwhile, the equipped Graviton Pulse Generator can impact the functioning of electronic components of enemies within a certain range, dealing AoE damage to enemy ships and disrupting their velocity.
