Thruster
Boosts your ship's velocity by 100% for 30s.
The Pilgrim frigate was developed in the modern age, as a full upgrade of the Orison frigate. The main improvements were capacitors and its processor capacity. The ship acts as an electronic scout on the battlefield, a role inherited from its prototype. The steady performance, long running time, and excellent maneuverability makes it a flexible scout on the battlefield.
The research was led by the Oracle Royal Military Research Institute, and the project was kept as such a tightly-guarded secret from the very beginning that even interstellar hackers had no information about it.
The upgrade carried on its role on the battlefield from the Orison, but used the latest electronic components to improve the ship's maneuverability and firepower like never before. It was even hailed as the Oracle military's masterpiece in 986 AG.
The Pilgrim was developed to deal with the intense international situation that started in 983 AG. In order to maintain the initiative in this complex situation, the Royal House of Nihad demanded that the Pilgrim project's development begin immediately after modifications to the Orison were completed. To achieve this, aside from the original researchers of the Orison, they brought in a group of technicians who engaged in developing destroyers. This is why the Pilgrim possesses the armors and propulsion system of a destroyer.
Neo-Europa closely followed this frigate, which possessed noticeably enhanced velocity, firepower, and energy allocation. But due to their early neglect of electronic technology, they had a difficult time determining where its core technology came from, and suspected that it might come from the immoral corporations of Dawn. However, military technology researchers believed this was actually a technological heritage from the Second Titan Empire.
Regardless of where its technology came from, the Pilgrim made an exemplary impact in the border conflict between the Oracle Empire and Svarus over the Geonesia issue, and the Pilgrim's name seemed to foreshadow Deus Faith's immutable position in the Oracle Empire, and a threatening omen to the increasingly pacified Geonesians.
