The Redeemer frigate is the upgrade of the Confessor frigate, inheriting its predecessor's role of heavy-armored disruptor. It's equipped with groundbreaking upgrades on processor capabilities and energy allocation.
The Redeemer is a product of independent development by the modern Oracle Empire's top religious institute Hm-nTr Court. In the condition that Hem-Netjer has gained steady power and established mutual reliance with the royal house of Nihad, they indeed possess the capability of autonomous R&D. Therefore, Hem-Netjer decided to develop a brand new heavy-armored disruption ship by revamping the Confessor frigate.
The daunting task of Redeemer development was first appointed to the flawlessly faithful developers of Obelisk Research Institute, who were supposed to complete this imperative mission under limited resources, and more severely, the international situation after ""The Coming"" AG 983 when the Empire faced enmity from other countries.
Through tedious contemplation and God's revelation, in 993 AG, the developers managed to apply a energy-efficient onboard disruption field and advanced electro-magnetic armor on the ship, and to improve ship energy efficiency through a series of complex reactions. The Redeemer frigate went public for the very first time.
