The Curse battlecruiser is an outstanding assault ship with steady overall performance and strong firepower. It is well-suited for mid to large battles when fighting with support ships, serving as a major force on the battlefield. It is equipped with a vacuum energy extractor and predatory shield collapse beam to effectively enhance firepower output and shield recharging to some extent.
The Curse battlecruiser was created during Galactic War IV. Only when faced with sudden assaults from the Svarn army who engaged in the ""Starbase Recapture"" operation did the Oracle Empire realize that its years of military accumulation were no longer an advantage in the modern era of continual technological innovation. At the time, the Oracle Empire was taken by surprise by the ferocious offensive. After the first wave of attacks, the military realized the importance of firepower ships for defense. While they added large numbers of firepower ships, they also realized that destroyer-class firepower assault ships wouldn't be enough to turn the tide. Therefore, the Oracle Empire, which remained neutral during Galactic War IV, had time to start preparing its ""Golden Tower"" plan.
The ""Golden Tower"" plan continued until 950 AG, and mainly focused on the development of heavy firepower ships, one of which was the Curse battlecruiser, which is still in use today.
Since the Oracle Empire's critical area of resource production was occupied (or recovered, depending on your political stance) by Svarus, the Curse battlecruiser wasn't developed by the Oracle Empire's own scientists. It was a new heavy firepower assault ship produced by the Damocles Group of Free Hygara at the urgent request of the Oracle Empire. This battlecruiser wasn't so much a product of the Oracle Empire as it was part of the heritage of Free Hygara in all but its skin. When looking at the Curse, no one could doubt the strength of its firepower. This ship has four stretched talon-like arms covered with HO:YAG laser emitters. It also has the freedom to equip other components and devices, and to carry out other roles in addition to its assault role.
It was because of its outstanding firepower that the Oracle Empire borrowed enough money from the Dawn through a series of maneuvers to buy out the technology and manufacturing lines of the Curse. This has made the Oracle Empire the only party able to produce the Curse to this day. In this regard, the Curse is truly an Oraclite ship.
