The Phantom battleship's defensive and firepower capabilities are outstanding, and typically allow it to take on the role of a forward attacker in battle. As a typical electronic battleship, it also has an advantage normal battleships cannot reach in electronic compatibility.
The Phantom Battleship is the upgrade of the Michael class developed during the States Period (710 AG-890 AG) near the end of Titan Empire II. The Michael battlecruiser was developed at the request of Emperor Noha Bashir during the Oracle's Fourth Political and Religious Conflict (i.e. historically the royalty reformation). It combined the strengths of the Oracle Empire's electronic battleships, and possessed outstanding firepower and support amplification.
During Galactic War IV, the Oracle's royal house of Nihad and Hem-Netjer relied on each other. Hm-nTr Court requested that the Michael class' name be changed to the Phantom as part of the ""Golden Tower"" plan, and said that this name came from remnants of the ancient Divine Scripture. Its meaning was that in the face of this ship's ferocity, the attacks of any other ship would be mere illusions.
The Phantom battleship has an overall flattened body, and the extended ship's body looks like it had wings. The shield generators were distributed evenly on the ship's horizontal hull, protecting its precise electronic equipment and superconductive circuits. Its many extraordinary electronic components provide the ship with excellent durability, and the ferocious-looking ""mouth"" at the front of the ship conceals laser emitters that can hit enemy ships within a certain range when activated, with almost no chance for escape. This stable design ensured that the Michael battleship could always maintain a combined role of a steady commander and a powerful disruptor.
Recently, the Bakr Research Institute made further upgrades to the Phantom battleship. A thorn-shaped trial electronic shield recharger was installed underneath the ship, which effectively captures energy dissipated from weapons or equipment used in deep space to recharge the shield. It also uses annihilation reactions to extract energy from destroyed enemy ships to replenish its shield, guaranteeing the security of the Phantom battleship. A multi-focal anode emitter was installed for effective fire power output.
Even the spokesperson of Watson Inc. in the United Solar Systems of Hygara claimed that there was no battleship as marvelous as the Phantom.
